Sports injuries are injuries  that occur to athletes participating in sporting events  In many cases, these types of injuries are due to overuse of a part of the body when participating in a certain activity. For example, runner's knee is a painful condition generally associated with running, while tennis elbow is a form of repetitive stress injury at the elbow. Other types of injuries can be caused by a hard contact with something. This can often cause a broken bone or torn ligament or tendon. Research shows that most football injuries are caused by trauma, such as a collision with an opponent or landing awkwardly from a jump. Approximately one quarter to one third of all football injuries are due to overuse and develop over a period of time, Broken legs in football are common becasue there are alot of flying tackles going in and there are alot of injuries becasue of football, there is alot of other ways you can get injured in sport its all becasue football is one of the most ones you can break your leg in any sort of way you just have to be carefull.

injury in rugby: in rugby if you get injured you could get serious neck injuries such as: whiplash , broken bones ,stiff neck also a slipped disc in the neck. injuries like this can put you on the side lines for a long time. you can also get knee injuries which can cause ligament and torn tendons, cruciate ligaments , you can also shatter any bone in your body.  Rugby injuries are very common becasue you are always diving into each other and getting tackled. You can injury your ankle, knee, leg, many others its very common because its a rough sport and nobodys ever safe. Head injuries are serious because when you go in scums you are at a high risk of casuing yourself a very bad injury.

Tennis injurys..: in tennis using your arms is the main thing you do in overuse bones and muscles in common in this sport due to overuse muscles you can get arthuritus this causes pain, less movement in your bones , stiffness , also weakness and locking.Tennis elbow is common in tennis aswell  with tennis elbow you will be in alot of pain , weakness in your joints and causes damage with your movement. Overuse injuries occur over time due to stress on the muscles, joints and soft tissues without proper time for healing. They begin as a small, nagging ache or pain, and can grow into a debilitating injury if they aren't treated early.
